About us
I got saved in 1991 with a heart for missions. Romans 15:22 was the verse the Lord gave stirring me to become a missionary. I became the missions Pastor of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship (CCBF) in 2000 and served there for 8 years, after which I was sent out to be a missionary in the Philippines.
While there I married my wife Jen in September of 2008. She had been the social worker at Calvary Children’s home for a decade. Our relationship had blossomed over the years as I led trips from CCBF over to minister to the kids there.
On November 9, 2008 we held the first Sunday service of ‘Simbahan sa Bukid’ or ‘Church on the Mountain’ in a small community called Himamaylan on the island of Negros. For six years we served there raising up a group of Godly men who became the Pastors and Bible study teachers in the newly founded church.
In March of 2014 the church was transitioned to the men God had raised up and the Lord opened the door for us to return and serve at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship as the administrative pastor.
It was while there in 2015 the Lord blessed us with our beautiful little daughter Hallel (praise). She is genuinely our little miracle. We were told we could never have children, but with God nothing is impossible! (Matthew 19:26)
Then in January 2020 the Lord stirred our hearts to step out again to church plant in the Philippines. This time we will be serving in the city of Bacolod.
